On August 2, 2019, the 2019 Mid-Year Work Meeting of Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution Co., Ltd. was held in Shanghai. With the theme “stay true to the mission, align with the advanced peer and focus on implementing”, the meeting was attended by over 50 participants, including leaders, consultants of the Company, directors of Sinochem Liaoning, each branch, and directors of each department of the Shanghai Head Office. Branches Sinochem Liaoning and Sinochem Trading(Singapore) set parallel sessions of the meeting via video calls. Presided over by Wang Guolun, deputy general manager of the Company, the meeting reviewed the work of the first half of the year, analyzed the current situation and existing problems, and arranged priorities in the second half of the year.

At the beginning of the meeting, the featured video “Grateful to those who walk through thick and thin together” that celebrated the Company's 2nd anniversary, was played. Enthusiastic and familiar faces and intense and ardent work scenes borne witness to the history of the Company since its establishment two years ago and showed the confidence and expectations of employees for the Company’s prospects.
Gist of the annual meeting conveyed by the manager of Sinochem Group
Wang Guolun, deputy general manager of the Company, conveyed the gist of the 2019 annual meeting of managers of Sinochem Group and mid-year work meeting of Sinochem Energy. After stressing the importance of “coordination, benchmarking, and difficulties solving”, he required all employees of the Company to “stay true to the mission” and promote the Company to transform into an innovative company driven by science and technology with “driving force, determination, and altitude of entrepreneurship”.
Analysis report on business performance in the first half of 2019
Zhang Tao, financial director of the Company, made the analysis report on business performance in the first half of 2019. He had an objective and comprehensive review of the Company's business performance in the past half of year. Meanwhile, he proposed measures to promote businesses in the second half of the year from four perspectives of market prediction, performance prediction, business development, and management promotion.
Commendation of “excellent league cadres, excellent league members and advanced league organization”
At the meeting, advanced units and outstanding individuals that won the 2018-2019 titles of “excellent league cadres, excellent league members and advanced league organization” of Sinochem Group, Sinochem Energy, and Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution were commended. All employees of the Company were encouraged to learn from them and stay true to the mission to continue to scale new heights at their positions.
Concluding speech made by the general manager
At the end of the meeting, Li Bo, general Party secretary and general manager of the Company, gave a concluding speech titled “accelerate the building of core marketing competitiveness of bulk petrochemicals by staying true to the mission, aligning with the advanced peer, and focusing on implementation.” Li Bo recognized the Company's achievements in the first half of the year and pointed out some problems. Meanwhile, he proposed requirements on the work in the second half of 2019 and pointed out the future development direction.
