In September, when the sun shone over the land of China brimming with festive atmospheres, the song “My Motherland & I” caught on, and all walks of life are expressing their blessings on the 70th anniversary of Motherland. Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution guaranteed safety with practical actions and greeted the 70th anniversary with a great sense of mission and meticulous deployment.
Raising awareness and holding a mobilization meeting
On September 23, Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution had a safety deployment meeting themed on “risk prevention, safety guarantee, and festival celebration”. At the meeting, Wang Guolun, deputy general manager, conveyed the gist of the meeting on work safety during festival held by the SASAC and the Group. General manager Li Bo stressed the enhancement of political stance, sense of responsibilities, and mission in the current safety work and demanded the immediate implementation of meeting gist to conduct a safety inspection and assign more duty shifts.
After the meeting, the HSE Committee of Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution immediately issued documents, organized seven safety guarantee measures to implement leaders’ instruction, and mainly conveyed the safety and environmental protection awareness of the Group Company and Sinochem Energy. Meanwhile, it vigorously conducted safety hazards screening and treatment, highlighted safety management of main parts, and implemented safety risk control according to different levels and categories. Safety management over precursor chemicals and emergency duty shifts were also strengthened.

He required staff to analyze the actual situation of logistic transportation site carefully, carry out a safety inspection on means of delivery and prioritize hazard screening and treatment as well as on-site inspection and supervision during the National Day. On September 25, Lu Hongwei, deputy general manager of the Business Plan Department, led the team to have a safety inspection over container tipper, loading, and pick-up vehicles at the coke shed of Sinochem Quanzhou.
On September 26, he held a service provider on-site safety meeting during which he publicized “National Day” safety awareness, hazards screening, treatment and rectification, tire safety management, and emergency treatment of flat tire.
He vigorously carried out the “two guidelines” publicity study and organized all staff of Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution for Sojump scanning test.
