Styrene, as an integral part of self-operation businesses of Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution, is an important raw organic compound in petrochemistry. With direct upstream materials of benzene and ethylene, styrene has relatively scattered downstream materials, mainly involving EPS, PS, ABS resins, synthetic rubbers (SBR, SBL, SBS, etc.), UPR, and styrene copolymer (such as SBC). Its application can be widely found in heat preservation in buildings, automobile manufacturing, household appliances, toy manufacturing, textiles, paper production, shoemaking, packaging, FRP products, and coatings.

In the same month, the Company helped an upstream refinery transfer a 10,000-ton styrene shipload to the warehouse of another port, which significantly alleviated the pressure on upstream enterprises.
Meanwhile, to ensure the successful delivery of styrene to downstream enterprises during these difficult times, employees from Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution worked around the clock and actively coordinated downstream production plans and logistic transport.
