June 19 is an extremely special day for Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution. On June 19, 2017, the company successfully registered in China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone. This marks the official establishment of Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution Co., Ltd.!
At the meeting, a video helped all employees review the development of Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution since its establishment, and all the bits and pieces of the past 365 days. To celebrate the first anniversary of the establishment of Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution, all employees recorded a video for the Company in which they sent different blessings. In different forms and words, they all wished a bright future for the Company.
A New Journey Featuring Scientific Innovation
In March of this year, Chairman Ning Gaoning's long article titled as "Science First" identified "Innovation" as Sinochem's driving force for future development. Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution responded actively by adjusting the Company strategy from "3+6" to "3+6+1" and focusing on building the core competitiveness featuring "applied techniques + supply chain services". At this meeting, Dong Dachuan, Deputy General Manager of Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution, conveyed the thoughts of the Company's senior management on the launching of innovation campaign. In addition, he made specific arrangements for carrying out innovation campaign. Mr. Dong encouraged all employees, especially front-line business personnel, to actively participate in the exploration of innovative businesses and contribute to the Company's future development.
Li Bo, General Manager of Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution, delivered a speech at the end of the meeting. This is also the most important agenda of this meeting.
Mr. Li Bo first reviewed the growth and changes of Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution in the past year and expressed his sincere thanks to all employees for their year-long hard work. He mentioned that the past year was a year of rapid growth for the Company, and that the Company completed the tasks assigned by the superior leaders with satisfactory results. This is inseparable from all employees who seek innovation and change and stick to the original aspiration.
Later, Mr. Li Bo talked about the three challenges that Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution must face and solve in the future based on its status quo. One is how to do a good job in the pre-sales of ethylene; the second is how to rediscover the profit model and commercial value; the third is how to cultivate the Company's innovative capabilities. He emphasized that Sinochem Petrochemical Distribution must focus on solving these three core problems in the future because if any of these problems cannot be properly solved, it will cause huge obstacles to the future development of the Company.
As for how to do well in future work, Mr. Li Bo put forward the following two requirements. First, in terms of ideology, we must adhere to the leadership of the Party, have steadfast ideals and beliefs, resolutely implement the decisions and major strategic deployments of the Group's Party organization, firmly regard the Party organization as a battle fortress, take Party members as role models, and escort the development of the Company with advanced ideas; Second, we must encourage and implement innovation, create an atmosphere of "mass innovation" within the Company, and improve the internal management process that adapts to innovative businesses to truly build future core competitiveness through innovation.
