Main properties
Colorless, odorless, and sweet liquid under normal temperatures, toxic to animals, and the lethal dose to humans is about 1.6 g/kg. It is mutually soluble with water and acetone, but slightly soluble in ethers.
Main applications
It is mainly used to produce polyester, polyester resin, hygroscopic agent, plasticizer, surfactant, synthetic fiber, cosmetics and explosives, and used as antifreeze agent, gas dehydrating agent, wetting agent, etc.
