Chemical Division I

Production process
Sour water stripping.
Main properties
Sulfur is an inflammable, solid, and dangerous material that is yellow and either solid or liquid in appearance. It has two forms: crystal and amorphous. Its melting point is 112.8~119.3℃, and its boiling point is 444.6℃. It is insoluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol and ethers, and freely soluble in carbon dioxide, carbon tetrachloride, and benzene.
Quality Standard
Solid and liquid sulfur for industrial use, GB/T 2449.1-2014
Main applications
It is widely applied to the chemical industry, light industry, pesticides, rubber, dyes, papermaking, and other industries. The downstream solid sulfur products are mainly applied to bromine, titanium dioxide, sulfuric acid, chemical fertilizer, and other industries.
